This was conveyed by Minister of Trade Mari Elka Pangestu told a news conference the ASEAN Regional Entrepreneurship Summit, in Jakarta, Wednesday (07/13/2011).
RES is the first regional program, as a follow-up of the Entrepreneurship Summit in Washington DC in April last year.
In its implementation in Bali, RES targeted to be attended by over 200 delegates, both of Asean, India, and China. Ministry of Commerce became the organizers as representatives from the Indonesian government.
Ministry of Trade also join with the Global Entrepreneurship Program Indonesia (GEPI) in organizing the event which also includes the Global Entreprenurship Program (GEP) of the U.S. State Department.
"We are delighted to be working together with GEPI. Ministry of Commerce as a facilitator RES, of course, fully supports the growth of entrepreneurship in Indonesia by creating a conducive climate, especially for young new entreprenurs expand its business," said Mari.
It should be noted, RES will be attended by a number of prominent speakers, among the foreign minister and Hillary Rodham Clinton Google Inc. Chairman Eric Schmidt.
A number of prominent corporate leaders in the homeland did not miss, to attend and be a speaker. Founder and President Director of PT Susi Susi Air Pudjiastuti, Co-Founder IBEKA Tri Mumpuni, to the Rector of the University of Paramadina Anies Baswedan will also be present.
