It is Silent Day in Bali today and everyone is asleep. No-one is allowed out of the hotel and the streets have no cars and no people on them at all.
First we went swimming in the big pool. My ear is very sore because I have an ear infection, but I’m taking tablets for it.
For breakfast I had 2 boiled eggs and toast, for lunch I had a banana split with ice cream on the top and chips and for dinner I had spaghetti.
We had to go to bed early because of silent day and there were no lights on anywhere, just in our room.
Silent Day is like Lent, but only for one day. The Balinese people don’t even eat anything all day.
